We both trust each other, right? .
Jordan and I ended up at one of the FD Studios in LA on the same day, both booked for different projects, both doing the usual routine where we’re basically just employees following whatever direction the agency throws at us. We’d worked together before, enough to have that quiet familiarity, but not enough control to shape anything ourselves.
But breaks are breaks, and that’s where the fun ideas usually live.
Each time we stepped away from the official set, we’d talk about how we wanted to create something on our own time, our own ideas, our own style, no agency micromanaging every frame. And that day, we finally decided to do it.
I pulled out a mood board I’d been saving, one we joked we could copy “to the T” because Jordan already looked so much like the model in it. So we planned fast: same outfit, a smidgen of makeup, and the vibe locked in. That was literally it.
Then we shot.
Simple, spontaneous, and completely ours. I mean completely copied. LOL
